Skill Test
A Skill Test is required for initial issue of a Licence or Rating
Proficiency Check
A Proficiency Check is required to maintain certain rating validities or reinstate a rating that has expired
Revalidation / Renewal
If your rating is still valid it can be revalidated, if it has expired it requires renewal

Each test or check includes the elements required by the authorities
Debrief & paperwork
After landing I'll let you know the outcome and give any feedback, then we'll complete the paperwork

I'll require you to bring certain documents when we fly together
